International Seminar on “The Paradox of the Association Between Religion and Family in Contemporary Russia”

IMG 20191010 170816On October 3, 2019, an international seminar took place as part of the project “The Paradox of the Association Between Religion and Family in Contemporary Russia” (supported by a grant from the Russian National Fund). In attendance was Sara Mazzucchelli, a faculty member of the Center for Family Research and the Catholic University of Milan. Sara Mazzucchelli's research is on the social and cultural transformations of the family and family relations, the balance between family and work, and social policy.

The seminar was dedicated to discussing the initial results of the analysis of data obtained through a survey of the Russian population to measure the ethics of humility and marital values. The discussion that followed the presentation of the results of the project was focussed on the association between marriage and Christianity in the modern world.
